What is Another Place?

A Life Lived

I watched as he approached the edge.  It was all I could do.  He seemed happy.  The smile upon his face was for a life lived, perhaps more.  The end was near.  From the darkness, the others came.  Seemingly made of light, I watched as they swirled over head.  It was all I could do.
