What is Another Place?
You've probably been there but you don't remember.  You might have pictures of it from when you were last there all those long years ago.  It's a place not so different from our own and all it takes to get there is you.  Remember what it's like to swim through the skies of Another Place, to run along the ocean floor, to find adventure and mystery everywhere you look.
Here in this journal, we will record those memories and discover Another Place all over again.

Great Blue Heron

I was vacationing in the quiet country side of Kempton, Pennsylvania last week and spent some of that time enjoying the local wildlife.  While we have Great Blue Herons "back home" I never really get to see them for a great length of time or all the close either.

At the farmhouse in Kempton though, there was a daily sighting of a Great Blue Heron who would frequent the two ponds on the property.  The 'heron is an enormous bird and looks very prehistoric when flying!

Don't forget you can see the rest of the bird collection at  http://blogforthebirds.tumblr.com/ and even join in on the fun of drawing them!
